CAP GUTLAN SR is a gastrointestinal formulation combining Rabeprazole Sodium with sustained-release Domperidone. Rabeprazole belongs to the proton pump inhibitor class and works by reducing gastric acid secretion. Domperidone helps improve certain gastrointestinal motility-related symptoms and may provide relief from nausea when appropriately prescribed. The sustained-release formulation is designed to release the Domperidone component over an extended period. This combination may be considered in selected patients with acid-related and associated gastrointestinal symptoms. It should be used only under medical supervision, particularly because Domperidone has important cardiac safety restrictions.
